Players, go no further! Keepers, forge ahead!

I am the author of Convalescence – A 1920s Adventure for Call of Cthulhu – Miskatonic Repository. That adventure can certainly be played online, but its map was not specifically designed for the virtual tabletop programs now used in online play. But I like making maps, so I made a new one and have made it available on DriveThruRPG!

A roleplaying game map for an adventure set at a clinic in Ireland

The published adventure takes place in a small country clinic in Ireland. Use this map to play that game, or use this map if it suits some other game that requires a clinic and some outbuildings. There are no labels or markings in the map itself that would prevent it from being used separately for another adventure.

The map includes:

  • An entryway
  • A patient ward
  • A bathing room for patients
  • Two private patient rooms
  • A kitchen
  • An administrator’s office (through the kitchen)
  • Doctor’s quarters behind the administrator’s office
  • Stairs down to the basement (which is not mapped, but was originally small and unremarkable in the adventure)
  • A storage closet
  • An examination room
  • An operating room
  • A nurses’ dormitory
  • A chapel
  • A maintenance shed
  • A garage

The ZIP file download available on DriveThruRPG contains four files:

  • The clinic buildings and rooms without grid
  • The clinic buildings and rooms with grid
  • The roof (to keep a lid on things) without grid
  • The roof with grid

The map files are 70dpi and most suitable for a virtual tabletop.

But if you do decide to play Convalescence – A 1920s Adventure for Call of Cthulhu – Miskatonic Repository online, consider this map as a nice embellishment!
